New Malden may be a fairly small high street, but it's got everything we need - including gifts for new borns.

Today, Bentalls in Kingston released their top 5 new borns gifts which got me and mummy thinking about what there is to buy on our high street and save us from clambering onto the bus or squeezing into a car parking space in Kingston....

Tudor Williams offers the best selection of toys on the high street with big brands including VTEC and Fisher Price. Plus they've got a small selection of clothes and bibs including some cute Cath Kidston ones.

Boots has got a small baby section, but all new mums could do with a hand with the everyday essentials and with a choice of organic brands and good old staple Johnson & Johnsons, you'll find something to add to your gift. Or how about a nice facemask for mum?

Mace at the top of the high street has a great selection of china and Beatrix Potter goodies from small teacup sets to ornate letters of the Alphabet for little one's bedroom.

Adorn Jewellers could have something of interest for you to buy ready for when baby is a bit older. How about a nice silver necklace for when she's older or a pair of cufflinks for a little boy? Slightly unusal, but different is good!

Imagine florists just up from train station offer a lovely selection of new born flower arrangements from £22.99 plus they do gifts as well like balloons and teddies too. Ahhhhhhh.

Does anyone else have any good places to buy new born goodies on the high street?
