Dedicated students put Kingston in Top 5 for Key Stage 2 Results

Local educational data continues to impress, as initial data (to be validated) shows that Key Stage 2 results in Kingston improved by 2% between 2010 and 2011.

The borough has some of the country's most dedicated students
This means that 81% of children achieve Level 4 in combined English and Maths, promoting Kingston's national standing number 4 in the country - up from an already credible 11th in 2010. Kingston's results are 7% higher than the national average for 11 year olds. At the higher Level 5 in combined English and Maths, Kingston results are 11% higher than the national average.
Education for All spokesperson, Councillor Liz Green said: "I'm delighted that Kingston's pupils have again attained such excellent results. This is down to the hard work and dedication of schools, teachers and the pupils themselves."
