Manor Park given an environmental clean up
By adam_leone | Friday, February 08, 2013, 12:14
The Environmental Trust has gone to Manor Park to clean ponds.
It's one of a number of occasions whereby Councillors Ken Smith and Howard Jones have volunteered to help with conservation of the park.
Regular maintenance of green land and woodland is vitally important to the preservation of our natural spaces and promotes tree growth.
In November the Copses were cleared out to make way for new growth.
This kind of work is vital for nurturing local wildlife.
Dr. Chris Cockel is also on side to to help out with the preservation of local parks with volunteers.
Any volunteers are always welcome.
