Richard Challoner Boy's School has been given a tree to mark the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.

It's the first school to receive a donation from Kingston Rotary Club.

The Mayor of Kingston helped dig the hole for the tree just before 10am this morning.

Kingston Rotary Club will be supplying trees to several schools in the borough to celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.

This follows on from the planting of a wood, in the grounds of the Sandringham Estate, by the Queen to denote the start of her Diamond Jubilee year.

Plaques will be attached to the trees denoting that the trees were planted during Queen Elizabeth's Diamond Jubilee year.
