Earlier this year, Team Korea made history when it became the newest nation to enter the America's Cup, the oldest still active, international sporting competition in the world.

Team Korea take to the seas
September 10th was the date of the second of the America's Cup World Series sailing events, which saw Team Korea competing alongside nine other yachts including two teams from the USA, as well as China, New Zealand, Sweden, Spain and France.
From the outset, Team Korea's tactics were to stay safe, take no risks and score points which is exactly what they did - despite highly challenging, windy conditions, skipper and Olympic Bronze medallist Chris Draper, together with three top British sailors, managed to secure a second place position overall in the Match Racing Championship.
In the overall Fleet Racing World Championships the team are now 6th, and are now ranked fifth overall in the America's Cup World Series - incredible stats for such a new team.
Well done Team Korea!
