After months of campaigning from residents, Worcester Park Bridge is to get cleaned up.
In January after a letter sent to Network Rail, the response detailed: "To remove the graffiti we will require either a time when trains are not running (possession) or a road closure on a main road with a cherry picker."
"We will have to apply to the council to see if they will allow us a road closure. However, we will look at the available options with a view to remove this graffiti."
However, with in the last day or say, a statement from Network has said: "We will be issuing a work order in the new financial year, which is next month and hope to have the graffiti removed by the end of the summer/early autumn."
Do you think the works are overdue?
