Great Food, lovely coffee and even better service
I would like to recommend Chicco cafe near the train station. I use them almost every day on my way to get the train to pick up a lovely tasting coffee (I'm a bit of a coffee geek and have to say their coffee is really good). Service is always quick efficient and cheery. When I have time, we often go for Lunch and the food is very tasty, hot and authentic. You can tell they use fresh vegetables and prepare the food to order, where possible. Give it a try!

Cracking Cafe Chicco
Use this Cafe almost every day on my way to the train station. Their coffee is delicious (not the cheap and nasty stuff) and made the proper Italian way.
Their food both looks and is so tasty and freshly prepared (I see them preparing it in the morning when waiting for my coffee). Understand they do a "take away" and pre-order service as well.
Facilities are clean, well maintained etc.
The owner, Tony is also a hoot and cares about his punters.

Chico Café
Chicco Cafe is a brilliant bistro and Italian themed cafe that’s situated in the square as soon as you exit New Malden train station. The pastries here are delicious and go fantastically well with their fresh coffee. Here they offer a great selection of food and the salads here are amazing.
