My personal nomination for community spirit goes to my neighbourhood watering hole, The Royal Oak in New Malden. It is not cheap to go out these days, but everybody try to make it your local! This is a great place run by a truly lovely young family.

I've never actually eaten at The Royal Oak before but have considered it as I know they do a Sunday Roast for just £5.99. That's a lot cheaper than other places and has got to be an amazing bargain, but only if its half-decent! Has anyone tried it and do you recommend it?
