I wonder if anyone has any feelings about the developing of the burlington school and the new junior playground being next to the incredibly polluted burlington road?? I didn't get a chance to see the plans due to work and have requested they go on the website that is due but was shocked at the decision to put it next to the road. Would the staff like to sit and have their coffee breathing in the fumes?? With all the health and safety these days i would have thought there would be rules about how close to roads children should be allowed to play.

I hadn't heard that before but it sounds like a very strange decision by the council - does anyone know when the playground is due to be finished?

i know this is kinda late but i've only just made an account, the work is said to make and improve the school in so many ways, i've seen some of it, they've made tones of progress since i last saw the place, it's said to be finished around Christmas if that helps
