While the country enjoys two consecutive bank holiday weekends, recycling and landfill waste collections are continuing as usual in the Borough.
-
waste collection and recycling days stay the same over the Bank Holidays
Collections will take place on the normal collection day over the forthcoming Royal Wedding day (29th April) and the May Bank Holiday (2nd May).
If you are hosting a street party for the Royal Wedding, please make a special effort to ensure that all waste and recycling is placed in the correct containers. Food scraps can be composted or placed in food waste bins for collection. Drink cartons, bottles and all paper products can all be recycled after your celebrations have ended.
As usual, place recycling and landfill waste containers out for collection by 6am on the morning of collection.
