I was craving a curry and an evening of **** TV last weekend so decided to try Sesame as its local to me. And I am so glad I did, I've had takeaways from this restaurant before but never tried the Korma and have to say it was exceptionally good, as was the saag aloo. I am already thinking about my next takeaway and TV night and will definitely be calling Sesame!

Myself along with a couple of friends regularly frequent Sesame. We've never been let down by these guys, the food is always absolutely superb, portion sizes are good, and delivered on time! We're particularly fond of the Thai Red curry with Coconut rice, with the obligatory Prawn Toast! Absolutely delicious!
Not only is it the closest restaurant to my home, I love that you can choose from two types of cuisine depending on your mood, which makes it rather unique. The food is of a consistent high standard and the prices are also very agreeable. We tend to get takeaways but I've also eaten in and the restaurant interior is modern, welcoming and spacious.

In the two short years since it opened, the dual cuisine Indian / Thai Sesame Restaurant has become well-established in the New Malden Restaurant scene, thanks to you, our discerning customers who soon spread the word about Sesame’s top service and food. This in turn enthuses ‘Team Sesame’ to go the extra mile. Result: customer loyalty and appreciation.
Sesame’s regular menu has been chosen with great care to give diners the best of both Indian and Thai cuisines, without being over long. It contains a fine balance of Starters, Main Courses, Accompaniments and Desserts. Many favourite dishes are on the menu, along with some which may be less familiar.
Sesame does not stand on its laurels. The team enjoy the challenge of staging regular food festivals which brings their culinary talents to the fore. Their accurately cooked Seafood, Rajasthani and Bengali Festivals have been great successes and they will be repeated from time to time, along with great new themes. (Watch this space!).
It was this dedication which soon brought Sesame to the attention of some serious ethnic restaurant critics. Pat Chapman, founder of the celebrated Curry Club, announced this week that Sesame will enter his prestigious 2012 edition of the Cobra Good Curry Guide (out in October). “And it will be highly rated too” he revealed. Peter Grove, Editor Mood Food said “Sesame provides that 'special something' for the discerning diner to discover." Shortly after Sesame opened in 2010, Top Table gave it a very high rating and followed up with the high mark of 8.2 out of 10 in 2011.
