Good local gym
New Malden is an area fairly devoid of health clubs, however Topnotch is friendly, not intimidating and fairly good value. Although it's not the biggest gym, the equipment is good and the room with the huge screen showing pop videos to keep you motivated is a bit different. The pool tends to be overpopulated by kids most of the time though. The classes are very enjoyable however, and the membership is not extortionate. Don't forget to check out the Miruji massage chairs too, which are the hottest secret in alternative health right now.
